Vernus is a hunter of bounties, monsters, and demons. Having a demon soul residing inside him, as well as his own, has granted him powers of a demon and makes him nigh invincible. Between the skills he's learned over the years and the powers of his demon, he tries to right some wrongs and make things better for the world.

Vices and Virtues
Every being created, whether human or monster, is given one vice and one virtue. There are seven vices, represented by the seven deadly sins, and seven virtues, representing the good traits in a person. Angels and demons are different however, as angels only have virtues, and demons only have vices. It is okay to an extent to give in to your vice, as long no one is harmed in the process. Now, a being such as Vernus, whom is inhabited by a second demonic soul, have two vices, but only one virtue.

Angels and Demons
Both do exist, however it is far from peaceful. Both angels and demons can appear in a spiritual form or a physical form. In their spiritual forms, they are both capable of possessing a human, but on different terms. Angels possess only people of faith and only if one to be possessed is willing; they will treat the host body with kindness, healing it when need be. Demons, however, will forcefully possess anyone they see fit to get what they want done, no matter who it is; they will use the host until it is beyond repair, leaving them to die somewhere. The physical forms of both are humanoid, angels looking more human, with feathered wings varying from a dark black to a pure white, and possessing a small glimmer around their head. The look of a demon's physical form is reminiscent of a human, but is rather distorted, their skins coming in a variety of colors, and typically sporting abnormally colored eyes. Where angels have their feathered wings and "halos," demons have bat-like wings and horns of varying size and shape.
